Winter Training Session 2

The United Nations Society is excited to announce the Prauge Summit, the second of our all-day winter training sessions.  Following the Euro Crisis and political instability in the European Union (particularly the rejection of new European monetary terms by the United Kingdom), the EU member states and observers are meeting in Prague, Czech Republic, to hammer out major points for a new constitutional framework to replace the lackluster Treaty of Lisbon.  Delegates will need to be at their best to coordinate among diverse European interests.  As Prime Minister David Cameron faces pressure at home, will the UK remain in the EU?  What will happen to the Euro?  What about admission for Turkey, Serbia, and other countries?

It will be held February 4th.

ATTENDANCE IS MANDATORY for those attending Harvard National Model UN.  Those delegates are automatically registered.  If, for some reason, a delegate cannot possibly attend, they must email the Director of Training (chris [at] thetomaltys *dot* com) with their reason.  Those who are not attending the conferences who wish to participate may also contact Chris to be included.  We especially welcome delegates attending the Indostralia-Malifranca Crisis and McMUN to continue their involvement with the UN Society at the Prague Summit.

Exact time and place will be provided when available.
